A favourite among potato and onion farmers as well as small scale maize farmers. On bulb and tuber crops BASAL MIX is often used as a total NPK solution by applying enough of the product to meet the limiting nutrient demand. For example: if 225 units of N are required, then 2500kg of BASAL MIX should be applied before ridging – no further NPK application necessary. If however the crop and soil so dictate, BASAL MIX is typically used in conjunction with NITRO K, N BOOST and HIGH K to achieve desired NPK targets in three easy applications.

HIGH K is a special blend of potassium with a small amount of added nitrogen. The phosphate is derived from the organic substrate and is orthophosphate which is not water soluble and immediately plant available. Designed as a banana, macadamia and avocado nutrition solution, HIGH K can be used on any crop requiring potassium at critical stages. The source of potassium is KCL and is buffered by the organic substrate, as such the risk of burn is greatly reduced while also increasing microbial activity.

Ammonium Sulphate is an essential topdressing in oil and protein synthesising crops like wheat and canola. This product is best used in conjunction with an Atlas basal fertilizer in an integrated program.
